The Plico app
- Your documents are opened, edited and saved only on your computer. They are never uploaded.
- Your personal profile (used by Smart Fill) is stored only on your computer, encrypted with Windows data protection. It is never sent anywhere.
- Settings and log files stay on your computer, in the PlicoData folder of your user profile. They are not sent automatically.
- Update check. By default, at startup and when you click Check for updates, Plico asks download.plicopdf.com whether a new version exists. The request asks only for the version list; nothing about you or your documents is sent. As with any internet request, the server receives your IP address and technical details of the request. You can turn the startup check off in Settings › About. Updates are downloaded and installed only after you confirm.
- No telemetry. Plico does not collect usage data, does not track you, has no ads and needs no account.
